The Organic Exchange On-line Tracking Service uses a technology called myString - a unique, internet-based traceability system
designed to help Organic Exchange members and their business partners keep records of the organic cotton they use in their products.

myString is easy to use. With no new software to install (the service is accessed directly over the internet), you can be up and running
in minutes. All your operational processes are represented on-screen and allocating raw material batches is a simple “drag and drop”
action.
Flexible-
myString is designed to record information about any product and any process. You can create new processes in a few minutes and
capture new information immediately. Integration with your customers and suppliers is seamless, putting you in control of your records,
and your business.
Efficient-
myString can be used throughout your business by anyone with access to the internet. Your important data is stored in a central off-site
location, and automatically backed-up to a second location every night. myString can be used by your suppliers to provide you with all
the details of your incoming raw materials in convenient electronic form, including copies of relevant certificates. You won’t have to record
these details any more, as they will have done it for you. You can use myString to deliver electronic information to your customers quickly
and easily.
Secure-
myString is password protected and all the information you enter is encrypted (you will see the “padlock” symbol in the bottom right
hand corner of Internet Explorer). You are always in complete control of who you share your information with.
